The team were so lovely!! We had an exchange student with us and she had the best time and our mugs turned out amazingly!! This was the second time I went and it was just as fun! “ Once again spending time here has fulfilled exactly what I needed. I have visited here a number of times in different contexts. It is a meeting place to properly catch up with friends and my partner. I found painting as you converse allows for relaxed good communication. It provided a fantastic opportunity to do an activity with my teenage daughter and elderly parents. My father has Parkinsons with limitrd mobility and some dementia. They don't live here so we are always looking for ideas when they visit. We could really talk and all do something fun. Dad commented it was the most fun he had for a very long time. Last night we lost our turtle we have had for 28 years. I was able to go this morning and paint him a special place for his ashes. The process of painting was a real catharsis from ruminating on losing him. Able to feel like doing something for a pet who you couldn't save from loss is important. In each and every occassion the staff have been able to provide the understanding and tailor the experience. Even when extremely busy they have been able to help as needed. I have observed how they work with a variety of ages from the very young to very old and supported as needed. This is a definite go to for fun, self care and relatiinship building. ”

“ Mums who need some me time - I’ve found your new sanctuary! I had the most therapeutic ‘me time’ morning painting a birthday plate for my son’s first birthday. Pottering Around is a great space with loads of options to choose from (reasonably priced) and plenty of colours to paint with. Coffee that you get to finish while it’s hot (I forgot what that was like) and as much or as little help and guidance as you need from the lovely ladies that run the store. Cannot wait to go back! ”

“ Loved my experience here! You definitely need to book as it was fully booked when I came and people were being turned away due to no space. My suggestion is to know what you want to pick before you come as you have about an hour and a half For your booking which goes fast. Everything was well explained at the start of the booking. The coffee was the best I’ve had in a really long time. Will definitely come again. Only lost a point on atmosphere for being a bit small otherwise it was great! ”
